BIKE PATHS

Mount Beauty has three scenic shared paths, each of which is perfect for a family-friendly bike ride or a relaxed walk with friends. The paths all start on Embankment Drive, are sealed, flat and explore different aspects of the town – all with stunning mountain views. Combine your ride with a picnic and a swim, and that's one very enjoyable day indeed.

KIEWA RIVER TRAIL

The Kiewa River Trail is a 5.6km-return path that follows the Kiewa River West Branch to its confluence where it forms the Kiewa River. This scenic trail passes the Pebble Beach swimming spot along the way.

MOUNT BEAUTY TO TAWONGA

The Mount Beauty to Tawonga Trail is a 15km-return path that connects the two towns. The path gently rises to provide uninterrupted views of the mountains and Kiewa Valley from the Mount Bogong Lookout.

THE PONDAGE TRAIL

The Mount Beauty Pondage Trail is a 3km path that circles the lake. The path has wide-open views and passes swimming and fishing spots as well as the BBQ area and skate park at Bicentennial Park.
