Bogong Village

Halfway between Mount Beauty and Falls Creek on the Bogong High Plains Road, Bogong Village is a restful place to kick back in a tranquil environment surrounded by the Alpine National Park and overlooking Lake Guy.

Originally built for workers on the Kiewa Hydro Electric Scheme, Bogong Village is steeped with history.  The village today is a perfect getaway resort for some serious R&R with great views, lovely gardens, rivers and lakes and perfect places for picnics and barbecues.

For those who prefer a more active holiday, the village offers a great base for all kinds of outdoor adventuring, whatever the season.

Twenty six self-contained holiday cottages have been renovated and available for rent.

The village is ideally located only a 15 km drive down the hill to Mount Beauty and the Kiewa Valley and 15 kms up to Falls Creek. Many who stay in Bogong Village choose not to leave at all. With fishing, walking, picnicking, tennis, kayaking, swimming or just enjoying the scenery and fresh mountain air.

Every season you will be pleasantly surprised by the exotic seasonal changes from flowering in Spring, blaze of colour in Autumn and the occasional dusting of snow in winter.
